Discussion Questions

Key Scripture:             “For we are God’s handiwork created in Christ Jesus that we may do those good works which God predestined for us that we should walk in them”  (Ephesians 2:10)

Aim:                         Learn keys to discovering God’s purpose for your life and understand the impact of our attitudes and actions on walking in the purposes of God.

1.         You have a divine assignment – you are God’s provision to meet someone’s need.  Share with the group something you are passionate about – what do love/hate, what are you good at?  What do you grieve over – these are all clues to the assignment God has for you.

2.         The presence of the Holy Spirit turns ordinary people into extraordinary people.  Look at the examples of Moses and Joshua in Exodus 34:29 and 33:11.

            What do you do to maintain a strong presence of God around your life?

            What would you need to do to grow in this area?

3.         Look at Joshua 1:6-9.  What direction did god give to Joshua regarding his attitude and his actions?

            Which of these areas do you need to grow in?

            What can you do to begin to build this into your life?
