1    Introduction:  The Issue of Priorities

Matthew 6:31-34  “Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you.”

· The priority of unsaved people is on how to have needs met.

· Gentiles “seek” (1934 Strongs) = to search, crave, demand.

· Result is anxiety and stress

· “Take no thought” (3308 Strongs) = to be anxious, divided, distracted.

· What you focus upon, you open your inner man to.

· God does not expect you to ignore your responsibilities or fail to plan ahead.

· God is aware of your needs and will provide them if you place Him first.
